This tool calculates the bandwidth of an AM signal.

**Formula**

The modulating signal is given by the equation

*m(t) = A _{m} cos(2π f_{m} t)*

and the carrier signal be,

*c(t) = A _{c} cos(2π f_{c} t)*

Where,

- A
_{m}is the amplitude of the modulating signal - A
_{c}is the amplitude of the carrier signal - f
_{m}is the frequency of the modulating signal - f
_{c}is the frequency of the carrier signal

Then, the equation of Amplitude Modulated wave will be

*s(t) = [A _{c} + A_{m} cos(2π f_{m} t)] cos(2π f_{c} t)*
