This tool converts a dB (deciBel) value to:

• Linear Power Gain
• Linear Voltage Gain

Formula

Power gain = 10^X_dB/10

Voltage gain = 10^X_dB/20

Note that Gain is a linear value.

If the input and output power are Pin and Pout respectively, the power gain ratio is Pout/Pin

If the input and output power are Vin and Vout respectively, the voltage gain ratio is Vout/Vin
