This tool converts Gigabit-per-second to Megabit-per-second.
Gigabit-per-second is also written as Gbps or Gb/s.
1 Gbps = 1000 Mbps
Example Calculation
10 Gbps provides fast Ethernet data transfer capability. It is equivalent to 10,000 Mbps. Even though it’s very fast it will not be adequate for Wi-Fi 7 which provides data rates up to 46,120 Mbps.
How to Convert Gbps to Mbps
The easiest way to do this is to multiply the number in Gbps by 1000. 5 Gbps is then 5*1000 = 5000 Mbps. Alternatively the calculator on this page can be used.
