ADC ENOB, SNR and THD Calculator

This tool computes the Effective Number Of Bits using values for Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)

Formula

ENOB = ([−10*Log10(10−SNR/10 + 10−THD/10)] – 1.76)/6.02

where,

  • SNR is the Signal-to-Noise Ratio in dB
  • THD is the Total Harmonic Distortion in dB
